Transistor pack Quantum: BLOOOODY HEEELLLL!!!!

Hi there,
just got from ebay a quantum turbo 2x2 for half the market price.... sweeeeet...
The catch is that it comes with no cable.
Since I intend to use it with a speedlite 550ex I'd need a CZ cable, which would cost me around 70 euros.
Now, that sounds a bit unresonable to me...
Anyone out there has managed to make it at home?

Quantum stuff is always expensive. Since you saved so much on the battery you shouldnt feel as bad paying for the cable!, or find one used for a better price (keh, ebay, whatever else in your neck of the woods).

Id be careful DIYing high voltage cables. Good way to fry gear and possibly hurt oneself.
