Just Checking - 430ex II Compatible?

I think I found the answer is "yes" by reading through all the specs, but just want to confirm since I'm new at this. Is the 430ex II (and the 580ex II, for that matter) compatible with the Canon EOS Rebel XTi? I need a flash and think I am deciding between the two, but want to make sure all features work with my current camera.

yes the 430 is compatible with the XTi

All Canon EX series Speedlites are compatible with all Canon EOS cameras, film or digital.

There are certain capabilities of the newer flashes that only work with the newer cameras (like camera menu control of flash functions).
