:) This picture was in the local newspaper but I just had to share it with you. Its so funny! Sure wouldn't want these guys to show up if my house was on fire  LOL.
Actually they are just sitting back after a long day of training. The house was abandoned and donated by the owners to get rid of. What a funny picture though.

Glad everyone else likes it as much as I do. This one is a keeper for my collection. It is funny, the photographer really captured a funny side of firefighters that usually is not seen. Who ever you are, WELL DONE!

Actually, they aren't just "sitting". As a firefighter myself, I understand that they are learning "by watching" the actions of a fire on a fully engulfed structure. There are things you can learn about how a fire moves and what to expect next, only by watching a building as it burns. The scene may "look" funny, but there are serious lessons being learned by the observers. Firefighting can be and often is a deadly business. As a member of a rural fire and rescue squad, I am often asked; "Why do you roll all that equipment on every call"? The reason.... "You never know what you will encounter and there is no time to check on the scene and then call for equipment. So you just go prepared for any eventuality and hope you've got the equipment to handle the emergency.
