Hello everyone,

We've recently gone live with the site and are looking for opinions/feedback. If you have a moment, please have a look at:

Hi there,

The 1st thing that hits me and annoys me is the entrance page, that is a major switch off for me and I would normally just close the window when I come accross them.

I found the flash a bit slow on loading the pics, but your photography itself is very nice.

It's looking great but like spuddevans said, loose the splash page. They are useless (unless you have a multilanguage site) and adds another click.

Also... is the Flash really needed? All that stuff could've been done with plain CSS and a bit JS (jQuery or MooTools)

Looks good tho...

Did you do this page yourself? Looks great!

Looks good but those large pics take a long time to load in, I got bored with waiting and closed your site after only the fifth image. Sorry.

The splash page is a barrier to the user.

User experience dictating a size and what Flash player is wrong and creates a bad impression. These days people will access a site with everything from a mobile phone to a games console and we must design for this in mind.

A pure Flash is overdone and totally unnecessary. Many photographers went this route and gives you nothing to establish you're own identity. Also it gives you no abilty to get your content onto the search engines.
