Hi,

I'm looking for a replacement backpack as I got a 2nd pro SLR.

What it'll contain is :

10D w/ grip
1D
24-70 2.8
70-200 IS
17-40L
50 f/1.8
420ex
580ex
+ some extra room for things like 500D, converter 1.4x and 2x,...

Do you guys think that this one should be enough ?

You can't go far wrong with the Photo Trekker, it's a great choice and will last for an epok.

That kindda looks like mine. It should hold what you want and then some!

I have in mine :

10D w/grip
20D
3 Lens with largest to 300mm
Batteries

And still have plenty of room.

And if you like Lowepro, they have the Computrekker:

Which I believe is the same as the PhotoTrekker, but with a space for your laptop.

Thank you guys for all your inputs.

Btw, I don't really need to have my laptop all the time with me. So the Computrekker would be less useful for me. Thanks anyway ;)

How appropriate for You

I got a Lowepro Nature Trekker AW II in which I can have all my equipment sofar.

And I recently bought a smaller Lowepro Mini Trekker for travelling but I was amazed how much can fit into that one too.

Ordered mine yesterday. Should arrive sometime today. I'll let you know how my gear fit when it arrives. At first I ordered the "7" but decided it was just too big for general use.

I got the Lowepro Nature Trekker AW II for xmas and it holds a ton of stuff! It is a tad on the heavy side even when empty as the padding is extremely thick, but well worth the weight when you see how well it protects your gear.

Tamrac Expedition 4... Holds all I need and the add on pouches are very handy... It's well padded and very comfortable to carry for long periods...

The Computreker is great for travel. I used mine while traveling in Europe and stashed a jacket, maps and umbrella in the computer pocket. It made a perfect backpack.

I have the Canon backpack.... It's getting tight, but I can still live with it.
I can fit 2 bodies with grips, about 3 lenses, 2 550EX flashes, and some more accessories. It's pretty small and confortable too (especially for a little guy like me)

Kind Regards

I also have the Computrekker. Never actually carried a computer in it but the sizing was ideal for me. The slot for the laptop is a good little storage slot for books or magazines if you are traveling. The tripod mount is also useful. Can't compare it to things I haven't owned (not that some people allow that to stop them) but I am very happy with it.

I have the Lowepro Mini Trekker AW but it might be a bit too small for all the gear you have.

Computertrekker for me too. Works very well and easy to get comfy fit on the body. My laptop fits perfectly, though I don't often use it for that. |If I'm on a long journey there is still room of all the bits you need carry around and a couple of magazines to pass the time. Pretty much ideal ... tho' has so many little storage places that it's easy to forget where stuff is  The rain cover is useful now and again.
