I thought I would practice doing a two flash setup. I tried several different scenarios first my son with one flash being used as a hairlight with a snoot on it. The next of my daughter with the flash being used as a fill light. I was not pleased with the shadow that was created by the hairlight under the eye.
Anyway, I would love to hear some constructive criticism.

Tone the hair light a bit and raise the key a bit. Just my two cents. I am trying to get my head around it all as well.

Thanks Ryan and Christy I will give it a try. I am limited a little bit by lower ceilings so I am not sure how much I can raise the key and hair light. Thanks for the input.

Oh, I meant the power. Raise the power of the key and lower the power of the other. That or move the key closer to the subjects.

ugh, i know what you mean about not having much room lol. I have plenty of room with my ceilings and all, but im somewhat limited to my shooting space. I have enough room, but i use 3 lights and a reflector and 1 of my lights has a 5 foot long by 3 foot wide softbox , so its definately fun to try to get all that shoved into my space, and still put enough space in between my subject and the bg (especially for my high key shots). But...I manage to get it done i guess lol.
