Hi All,
Just wanted some opinions. Nothing great, but out of the other photos i took this was the only one that i really liked. I walked through a little nature trail at a local college, but wasn't impressed with any of my pics.

Makes me look twice this one, where we would have lush ferns and undergrowth.I see palms!
I would focus on those palms myself, get some great shadows going.

Yeah those are sawblade palms (i think). I have some shots of just the palms...maybe i will take another look at them. Thanks for the reply.

I find the subject interesting but its needs a little more drama in the lighting to make it work (for me anyway)
If it were mine i might be tempted to spend a little dodge and burn time with it

There is so much trees and darkness in the photo that the trail is not that prominent nor apparent. Follow the rule of thirds to get better photographs.

This picture's a bit of work... got to make an active effort to look around it, but ultimately I feel it rewards well enough. Unusual composition: the path itself it de-emphasised, the horizon is low in the shot, but so what. Lots of high contrast elements and verticals really make a statement. Can see why you like it. Cheers, Tony
