It's a nice shot. I would suggest lightening it up a bit though.

Very good shot! Personally if you're going to have dark on one side I prefer it on the left. Humans don't like looking into dark (and we look from left to right)! Just my personal preference though.

nice shot! just be careful of what reflects on the eyes of your subjects, seems to me theres an umbrella looking object there.

Not a bad shot. The focus is on and her expression is pleasant. I feel like we are touching noses when I look at her. Try backing up a bit and remove the glare from her right eye.

A NICE SHOT. CONGRATULATIONS.!
TECHNICALLY YOU'VE DONE VERY WELL. YOUR CHOICE OF A PLAIN BACKGROUND AND A LARGE APPETURE HAS THROWN THE BACKGROUND OUT OF FOCUS AND ENSURES THERE'S NO DISTRACTION ON THE VIEWERS EYE FROM YOUR SUBJECT.
WINDOW LIGHT AS YOU'VE USED USED HERE IS IDEAL FOR PORTRAITURE AND PERSONALLY I REALLY DISAGREE WITH OTHER COMMENTS SUGGESTING THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GIRLS FACE IS IN TOO MUCH SHADOW. ENOUGH LIGHT IS REFLECTED LIGHT ONTO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GIRL'S FACE WITHOUT LEAVING THE SHADOWS TOO DARK.
CRITICAL FOCUS IS EXACTLY WHERE IT SHOULD BE AND THE EYES ARE PIN SHARP WITH A CTACHLIGHT TO ADD A BIT OF SPARKLE
FINALLY, THE GIRL IS OBVIOUSLY COMFORTABLE POSING AND HAS A LOVLEY, NATURAL SMILE RESULTING IN A PORTRAIT IM SURE HER PARENTS WOULD ADORE.
THE TIGHT CROP YOU'VE CHOSEN WORKS EXCELLENTLY
(SORRY IF IVE RABBITED ON BUT PHOTOING KIDS ISISNT EASY AND I THINK YOU'VE DONE A GOOD JOB)

please don't type in all caps, it's harder to read and also is considered impolite on web forums.

It's not bad but the frame is horrible. Its is too think and dark. I would use more white and not have it so big.

yeah, I think having the black border makes the image itself seem a bit darker. Making it white might help that a little, as well as making it thinner

Thanks so much for all your comments. This is the first image i've ever taken that's come out halfway decent. It's SOOOO exciting! Thanks again
