Yes, CJ, it is a race track, but an historic one that sits right smack dab in the middle of the town of Goshen, Orange County, New York. It was donated to the town many years ago by the Harriman family. While there are trotters in the barn and they do exercise them regularly, they only race for one week in July and no "official" betting is permitted as per the family bequest.

The cat would have been guilty of something; it tried to follow my wife into the bathroom. And my wife is highly allergic. Turned out, bathroom was locked.

But it did continue to follow us right up to the sidewalk and stayed put when we crossed.
