If I have an image I'd like to post, possibly offensive content nothing illegal or adult, but would like approval before posting. Who would I talk to or what are the proper steps to take?

"Possibly offensive" is no reason for censorship, even self censorship. You may speak with any Moderator and Pekka has the final call. Unless you are pushing the envelope really hard I would just post the image. If there is a problem you will hear about it (without prejudice) and we'll work it out.

Thank you Skip. I have reviewed the rules again. I dont see anything that pertains to this, but still wanted to error on the safe side. It was a shoot involving staged suicide/self mutilation. That can bring out some pretty strong emotions in people.

You may rest assured that such images will elicit a spirited discussion. Staged violence whether outwardly or inwardly directed is always met with resistance and may not pass muster. You will never know until you try.

These types of photos have been posted before and met with a great deal of resistance. If I recall, there was an unofficial "no-no" given to these types of photos. Like Skip said, Pekka is final and ultimate authority.

I am not one to stir up trouble for myself in a place I like to visit, so I'll just refrain. :)

Lax, I respect the fact that you asked first as to not upset the powers that be and offending the masses, me included, btw. I see enough death and destruction at work, I don't like to see it here.
