So, I spent part of the afternoon playing in the backyard with some GI Joes. It has been over 10 years since I have done this.
These are some of the shots, and I would like some input from you guys. Thanks

hah that first one is pretty good for detail with that color tone.

Haha...the first one looks great with that old-timey tint.

On the last one, I'd move the main figure to the other side of the frame so it looks more balanced and you get to see the action.

Great concept! I'd like to see more.

Sweet! I actually did this with some army men a few months back. These are good - maybe try introducing a little light?

The cool thing about army men - they never get tired of modeling and they don't move. This means you can use a tripod and set a really small aperture with long shutter times if you want to.

Here's a few images from my shoot a while back if you're interested: http://lonnie.ws/2008/08/24/the-rainy-day-war/

Thanks guys, lhoney2 those are cool, you are right the GI Joes are much more patient than my girlfriend is. I think in the next couple evenings I am going to play with some small background fires to use as light and add some emotion to them hopefully. These are pretty neat, even with the fact that they are tiny the dirt and ground around them makes it almost look real.
