Bought new Lens

Well I did it again. Lens envy won again. Had been eyeing the canon 100mm macro and was going to get it today at the local camera store until I saw the tamron sp af 90mm f/2.8 macro. Did so reading of reviews and comparisions and went for the tamron. I am quite pleased. Tamron is also giveing a $40 buck rebate which make this choice even easier. Oh, the lens also comes with a hood, which is nice just because I hate buying them afterwards. here is a crop of some detail. Nice subject eh? It pouring buckets out now :(

Another reason I went for this lens is that I was eyeing the canon 85mm 1.8 prime as well. I know its not a prime as per the canon 85mm but for all around and macro I am set. Funny how tamron has been filling a nitch for me lately. Nice lens for nice $$.
