As there is no rumor forum, does any one have any ifo on when the 1Ds MKIV could be released? Or am I just better off getting a hassy?

Don't believe anything you read in the rumor section. Canon is dropping their professional line dSLR's. They will only produce Rebel's, and maybe xxD bodies. You better move to Hassy

Yeah I know all the specs here you go

5 terapixels
A new macropixel foveon RGBCYMKWI (red-green-blue-cyan-yellow-magneta-Kelvin-white-indigo)infra-red sensor
Sensor size=693x249mm
Kalimar-mount only
4 fps
with FOUR viewfinders (for people with glasses, of course, duhr).

I should be the moderator of the rumor thread.

You forgot to mention that they're using "adamantium" for the body.
