350Z and NSX
The 350Z was only a week old when this pic was taken. My friend already put Vertical Doors on it. This was taken about a week ago.
I need to take more, because he just put 19" Ray's, Carbon Fiber Eyelids, and dumped it on the ground.
I'm not sure about the mods to the NSX, but it's one sexy car. Enjoy the shots! It wasn't an actual shoot, but more like "I have some extra time, and the light is great, let's shoot!"

Nice work.
Not usually a fan of the two tone look but that NSX is indeed sexy.

Hey dude,
I'll stick me neck out here and make a few suggestions :)
Well, I have been shooting cars & bieks for magazines for the best part of 20 years ...
You got some good angles there and down low is always good ... plus the time of day is right.
Hwoever, your backgrounds are way too cluttered - you either need to seperate the car from the background more and use depth of field to blur the background, or, simply find a less cluttered background.
There's one shot there too, with the classic car-photography mistake of a pole (or tree) growing out of the roof.
Here's a shot from a recent shoot I done on a 180SX for Aussie magazine, High Performance Imports.

I'm no pro and make a lot of the same mistakes. I personally like the NSX close rim shot as being my FAV.....
Good job

ya your backgrounds aren't interesting (or should i say too busy). Parking lot? home garage?
Find a better location, call the car owners and try the shoot again.
I'll crit #2:
My favorite shot, great lighting, good angle... BUT
-the car is on 2 seperate angled levels, the street and the driveway (looks that way), making the car uneven.
-your border is SQUEEEZING the the poor car to death. I'm forced into this tight box. No room for my eyes to relax
-and like i said before, the background is mundane
heres an example of one of mine:

good luck!

Tyre dressing - or Tire dressing to you Americans :) :)
NEVER !
I don't recommend it as it makes a mess and if you have to move the car then it picks up dust and crap like a magnet ....
honestly don't know what those marks are ....funny how they're sort of in line with the wheels ... if it was Tyre, er, sorry Tire dressing, then it'd be closer to the tyre, hmmm, tire and not coming out from the tyre, er, tire

heh thanks for all the input and crit, guys!
But like I said, this wasn't an actual shoot... It was right before sunset, and we didn't have time to scout a location... My spot woulda been an industrial building with railroad tracks in the bg which would have provided the perfect DOF for these cars, but that was about 20 min away, and we would've lost the light... We were just chillin' in front of my friend's place, and I happened to have my camera, so we just improvised...
But yeah, I don't normally shoot cars, but a lot of the same rules apply for people... I'm actually scheduling a shoot for these guys, so I'll post those pics as soon as they're done!
Once again, thanks for everyone comments!

the nsx is hot, but those lambo doors kill the 350 imo. They belong on a lambo.
