Good macro. You might try a narrower aperture to get all of the details of the stamen in focus...

actually very little photoshopping apart from slight levels and boosting saturation by 20%. it was only a boring geranium i saw in the garden last summer but i love macro work becasue the closer you get things become so abstract you hardly recognise them

This is very nice. How about some exif information??

i dont have the original EXIF to hand but i can tell you it was captured digitally on a Canon 10D with an old 100ml f2.8 macro (its ancient and the AF sounds like concord landing its so noisy but its fantastically sharp )
ISO 100, shot wide open at f2.8 outdoors lit by daylight only

------- post editing just tweaked levels, Hue & sat by 20-30%, unsharp mask only

Sorry some of you have had a long, snowy cold winter. If any of you are hankering to get out of it, a wet winter here in California has lead to an amazing crop of wild flowers up and down the entire state. Temperatures are around 60's- 70's...come on, bring your cameras and enjoy!!!!
