I took these pics for Chrysler. Honestly it was my first time shooting with my camera. I actually screwed up and left it at iso 800....

Let me know what you think ...

not a mopar fan but the 300 and magnum get me revved up when i see them.

Not at all bad for a first try and snow makes getting the exposure really difficult so you did a good job on that.

Some points though, in the first shot it's cropped a little too tight and the shutter speed is too high - there's no motion blur in the wheels so the car looks "parked" - the snow flying up from the front wheels saves it a bit. The second shot could do with a tighter crop as the background is too busy. It takes your attention away from the car.

As for leaving it stuck on ISO 800, don't worry, we all do that from time to time ;)

WOW someone who knows about the original 300's. :D In 1957, when I was 16 and inspired by a review in Popular Mechanics, I tried to talk my dad into a 300C. He knew better than to let me get into one of those ;) but he did get a Chrysler. Here he is below in a couple shots I took with my avatar. It was a great car w/tortion bar suspension & it was FLAT in the corners, unlike other cars from the '50s - probably why I got into sports car road racing a few years later. If the one in the pics is yours, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did my dads! :D

YUP
the original is damn sexy.
thanx for the storytime photosguy.

wonder what my GM dad would think of me wanting a mopar?
i know some of his friends would be fine with it.
he ran with a mixed crowd in school. GM and Mopars mostly. of course he had to be at the top or regaining the top. he had a 57 chev that was built for the straight roads.

I had a '69 Cuda Formula "S" w/383 & put 187,000 miles on it, but those Malibu 454's were some serious iron! Every few months someone else was the new "King of the Hill."

Thanks for the critques I really appretiate that. Your right that snow is really hard to shoot in, also I have a huge problem with cutting things off and right as you noticed. Well atleast I don't feel like an idiot with the high iso's ....

I've attached another one ..... since I noticed you guys like this car..... I really had fun driving it too lol
