This is a shot of my mountain home . . . just two miles to the left and about three from the peak. These mountains are only 8800 ft. in height the valley is about 4500 ft. This is a photograph of where the snow line is today, I got out my 17-85 and checked to see if it could/would capture the entire length of my home range, yep. Darn fine lens this here EFS 17-85.

Anyway that is why the dirt is in the front, lol.

Spring is on the way, nice shot. I wish I lived near mountains.

Yep, and I can bend the earth with the wide angle of that lens . . . and with yours I could break it.

COOL shot!!! (no pun intended) You obviously live in a beautiful part of the country. My family vacationed in Yellowstone Natl. Park in June, 2004. It was an awesome vacation!!! Planning on Rocky Mountain Natl. Park this year. Can hardly wait!!! By the way, Where IS Tin Cup, Wy. I can't find it on either map I have.

LOL, Tin Cup is not a town, just a few places out in the county. It is between Freedom, Wyoming and Soda Springs Idaho, near the state line.

This weekend looks to be pretty dreary here in Colorado too. However, at my elevation (4600ft) it "may" stay in liquid, non-white form. It will be spring soon!

Heck! I was more than glad to see ANY color other than white. We are having a storm as I speak you may have it on the morrow, lol. We need the moisture, the dams/lakes are down and it has been dry for long enough.

LOL, I wonder how many of us watch the season by the snow line . . . that is a sad state of affairs, to say the least.
