Is the P-6000 compatible with 50D raw files?
Thanks

No but they have a disclaimer.
The camera models listed here have been tested by Epson and were found to be compatible. Other camera models may be compatible, but have not been tested.

Thanks, I found another list (http://epson.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/epson.cfg/php/enduser/popup_adp.php?p_sid=3471ZToj&p_lva=&p_li=&p_faqid=20900&p_created=1220550282&p_sp=). They do not support the newer cameras. Durn, I was hoping I could use it for my 50D. Now what?

Depends on what you mean by "use". You can still use it to download and store your photos. I can't answer for Epson, but my FlashTrax drive extracts the embedded JPEG from RAW files to allow me to view my photos from cameras released after the Flashtrax came out.

From Canon Support
The device CAN display (raw) files from a Canon 50D.
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE... it can not PROCESS (meaning edit, enhance or apply changes to a file) images in the viewer itself from the 50D.
The 6000 CAN see raw from the 50D but not manipulate the files in the viewer itself.
I assume this means that one cannot use the adjustment features (crop and so on) before printing.

My P3000 reads the 50D files just as it did with my 30D and 40D.
