I thought it was odd that you said it didn't focus in high contrast. That's when it should focus the best.
I noticed in bird shots. White bird on a darker background and a grey colored bird against a blue sky. Both times....just not in focus at all.

Edit: and now I found the mis focus in a horsie shot....it was backlit, but not straight into the sun. :confused:

Kitties ran amok most of the night, they were playing with me from 10 till about 1 I was hoping it would tire them out. I thought cat's sleep 20 hours a day??

KITTENS tend to be really active. Adult cats are the ones that sleep a lot (although we had to wait until the boys were about 9 before they spent more time sleeping)

Does this mean that both kittens are coming out more? the girl is curious and always out these days, the boy still not so much. He hides and hisses at us when we find him, but after 10 PM he will come out and play with me and the othe kitten with the cat dancer and I feed them chicken by hand. The girl understands licking off the residue, the boy bites HARD like my finger is a piece of chicken.

YAY! How's the little boy doing then?

I think it was actually the girl pooping outside the box, but I caught her in "the" spot as she was trying to get into position! I sprayed her with a little water and herded her into the bathroom. I sat in there with her (Eli was in the tub) and we made happy kitty noises when she used the box! hoping this encouragement will help. She also sat on my lap for a hot minute and enjoyed some under the chin skritching.

Yeah, I'm going to be working nights. Which is fine, I stay up half the night anyway. Just cuts into my wine drinking.:lol: My new job is not all that great. But, in this area was all I could find at the moment. I'll be doing whatever they need me to do... at everyone's favorite Walmarche.:|
A jobs a job. It's gets the money and that is all that is important. Like you said, it's temporary until you can go on the road with hubby :D.
