That's way cool. What are the big white buildings to the left? They look like a school or something.
Moss thrown down from the roof by the magpies...
I can honestly say that I expected to go my entire life without hearing someone say that.
I've stopped using FF a while ago already, as it slows down my computer... I use Camino instead.
As soon as I am done moving my favorites out of FF it is a goner from my computer as well.

Kona sits, goes down & rolls over (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwNXMjrSwuQ)Good boy! He is coming along fine. If I were to suggest something it would be more reprimand for the silliness at the end. It was no big deal at all, but it was something you didn't want. If it were me in that case, when he jumped at your face and camera(which he did for attention, it wasn't really bad) rather than changing tone a little and saying something he doesn't understand, snap "no" and as soon as he stops the negative thing go back to the happy tone. So in that case it would be "good dog.....and the praise you were doing, then "no" as soon as he jumps, right back to good when he hits the ground. It is your reaction, tone, and command immediately after his behavior which will teach him.
I sometimes say "hey!" as sort of a warning instead of a "no". That way if the dog starts to stray from the lesson you can sort of say "hey" as a warning to get him back on track but it is not a full blown "no" which could confuse him. For example you are outside, he is off leash but behaving, you see him look away from what you are doing and test the air for a scent and look like he is thinking about going for it, rather than saying "no" which could make him think the behaving part is wrong, just give him a little "hey" with a tone so he looks back to you.

okay here's the last video Kona IRL...the good and the bad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgWmWoICOl4) if you watch til the end you'll see he's very stubborn.
He is coming along good.
Two recommendations. First, what Zane said. Immediately upon doing something he shouldn't be doing, firmly say 'NO', then give a corrective command. No does not mean 'bad', it just means stop whatever it is you are doing and wait for me to steer you straight. Secondly, I would not repeat commands, especially if he is obeying (such as when you told him to stay). When getting him to sit, just say it once and wait a wee bit. They get to realize that the reward (praise/treat/click) is not coming until they respond accordingly.
I really think Kona (and you) are doing great Lisa. :D

Perfect! There was no stubbornness just a little puppiness. Really you are being to hard on you.
The one thing I noticed is he came to you, you said sit, he did and you went on to working on stay because you have sit command down(very well I will add). It would have been better to say "good" when he sat, it is his reward for part one of the exercise.
The other thing would be a more serious "off". Say off like you are really mad. He will do stuff just to please you and not do stuff just because it displeases you. It is your job to show him which is which.
The jump on the couch was puppy jubulance. It should be reprimanded but he was not being bad really.
I am glad you posted those. I am able to see what's going on and am happy that it looks like it is going well. You are just a perfectionist, evident by your photography. That's not bad but I can see how it is frustrating when it doesn't go right.

Bod of dat^^^ If he breaks the stay, then yes, repeat but as long as he is obeying the command, just back away.
Lisa, are you using hand signals on all his training? If so, once he gets the voice command down, like it looks like he is. Start trying using only the hand command....don't worry if it takes awhile. Dogs I've trained for hand signals, I'll cup their mouth in my free hand and turn their face to make sure they are looking at the hand signal, when I first start out training. "Hey" often worked here also, just to get their attention, then followed by the hand signal. A hand signal actually saved Freckles once when he was walking off leash in a park a bike came between us just as he was ready to come back, I said HEY and did the hand signal for down. He laid down and the bike passed with no bumps or bruises. Might have scared the cyclist as well when I said HEY, he/she might have thought I was trying to get their attention, don't really know, my concern and attention was on Frecks.

For example If you say "stay", put your hand to the dog like a stop sign. He will learn hand signals simultaneously with no added effort.
