Ballet Photo

This was taken in a very dark theater with very dramatic lighting. The moon made for very cool photos. I had to shoot at 1600 and I used the noiseware pro version to help it out. I considered trying to change the skin tones to somethign more natural, but decided it looked more like they were bathed in moonlight like this.

Hi Pam, I like the concept and execution of this shot. The only thing that would have improved on this IMHO, is to have managed to get them centered more in front of the Moon. Probably a Tall order, considering they were most likely moving pretty fast.

Nice picture! I like the way they're framed by the moon. I got a very similar shot last year at the Aladdin musical at Disney's California Adventure.

Nice silhouette shot of the dancers. :) It would have been nice to have them centered on the moon, but you take what you can and hope for the best.

Amazing photo! I really hadn't have even noticed the dancers being off centered from the moon...I guess I was too busy looking at the dancer's feet, positions, technique, etc :lol: The mood is really unique on this photo....great work!
