Help me decide.

I am presenting images in different styles, ( gallery wraps, large black and white, regular large prints etc.) for clients ON THE WALL. My question is... What color should I paint the wall for maximum impact. My wife thinks light gray. I don't know. what do you think? I have nice lights and everything too, should be cool.

I've put my stuff up against, sage green, caribbean blue, tan, and an amazing bright honey-yellow and it all looked good. I wouldn't go with a pattern(wallpaper) or even a paint pattern, stay with a solid(or perhaps a textured finish). Do whatever makes you feel good about the space. A warmer color will get a better response from your clients, light gray may be too impersonal/cool color for that.

What about black? I think it would look pretty neat.
