Would like your thoughts on my sports posters

It's been two years since I design any posters. This year I wanted to get on the ball and create a whole new line to totally replace our current ones.

I'd like to hear your comments as fellow designers, parents, and sport enthusiasts. It would be nice to get some feedback before I offer these to parents.

I'm a fan of #4...when I first saw it, I said, "WOW...that pops!"

Number 5 is my pick, by quite a bit IMHO. Numbers 4 and 8 would come after that. The others just aren't grabbing me much at all.

Agreed, #4 is excellent.

Not a fan of #3 at all though. Sorry I cant give any better input.

I really like #4, it's creative, different, maybe I'd use the pose from #5 in it's place, also I would do something else with the "#" and "2", maybe get them off the walls, put them into the black band (to the right) with his name. Love this concept!!!

#4 and 5 are the ones I'd continue working with. Some of the others appear to focus much more on the graphics than on the player. Just my $1/50.

Thanks guys for the feedback! You comments will definitely give me something to think about.

It's funny how I see my own work. Poster #4 was my least favorite. I felt it was incomplete and lacking something. I just "threw" text on the wall to fill the voids. I'm happy you guys like it!

#3 was my favorite. It's a sleek simple design with a lot going on in the background. I'll prolly do something else with the text. #1 & #2 are a close second because they were so much fun to design.

#4 for me as well. Just turn down the opacity on his left toe. It get's caught up in his name.

I like #4 & #5 the best. #7 makes me feel as if the player past away.

I like #4 and the layout of the pics best in #5. The first two have sort of a 70s cartoonish look to the BG that the kids won't relate to.

Overall, I think you've got some really nice stuff that is WAY above what kids/parents would expect.
