Nobody wants to see a picture of you, they want to see your work and that's what you're trying to sell them on.
Ditch yahoo, I have it as well and slowly getting onto my own server for email and would have done it years ago if it wasn't so entwined into my old business cards and all the companies know that's my email. On new cards my new email is there and getting rid of the yahoo one, he's right it's more professional and the sooner you start to ween away from it the better.

tbh as far as email goes, get a domian name, it costs about $25 a year, not expensive. a home based mail server is not hard to set up either, dsl is pretty cheap in most part of the world,
the newer cards look much better

I'm not the best of judge of business cards but I do think that you mean "concert" instead of "concet", correct?

you think it would be a better idea to find someone who does this for a living?

u have ur site hosted somewhere so they can give you an email. contact whoever made it for you. the selective color with the girl looks cheap and the pose is very acward. I wouldn't use it. your last card is the better of the three, but i think you weant to correct any mistakes.

You don't need a home based mail server, get a domain name with an e-mail address and just forward that address to your regular e-mail.

The last one is the best so far, but I'm also not sure about the photo.
I used double sided business cards so I can show 2 different photos... maybe put an example of the other type of photography you are advertising. I just used the same template for my website & phone number and switched the photo layer in PS. Maybe know I think I should have added some more info on the back instead of repeating from the front. I'm just saying don't leave the back blank since I'm sure there are a lot more pictures you want to show to represent yourself.

As for the email, your hosting service for the website you already have should have step by step info on creating an email with your domain name.

I like this one, don't worry too much about it it's not like you leave them in a gift shop to be picked up - it's just a contact card there's no rocket science to it.
Clear, concise, contact info- 3 cs.
Lotta people responding above me sound like right arseholes, "Start over, seriously."; How about "Grow up, Seriously"

Look into Google Apps for your domain, and use it to handle your email. It's free for a limited number of addresses, you get POP3/IMAP access AND Gmail is your web client.

A business card isn't advertising or a portfolio, it's to give people your contact details and a website to see your portfolio on. If you must put a photo on a business card selective color where the subject isn't in color is a great way to mess it up. Selective color, in general, seems to appeal to people without taste.
The diagonal lines on that card are bad. The graduated card isn't as bad. Your email address isn't on them though.

varuj, there are people on here who are great at graphic design if you want their help..some of these tries are close, some, honestly aren't good. I'm not super web savvy and still set up my own domain and webmail and such....it is not difficult if you go thru somewhere like GoDaddy (skip yahoo hosting, you'll have issues later). Their support is great and they've got FAQ's set up for people who are very knew to it. All you need is a little time.

Wow, it seems like such a waste of valuable resource to NOT consider your business card an ad or portfolio - you can use that little card to your benefit by using a beautiful photo to advertise and represent your PHOTO business - it can't be more appropriate than that to me. Your card will be way more likely to be overlooked and tossed out without it. If it has a nice image on it people will pick it up to look at it!
Get 2-sided printing if you think it is distracting. I hear of people who have a variety of photo cards and people want to collect them and get excited about it.
I agree I wouldn't choose the first one of yourself behind the camera but I liked the close up with the girl and red stripes.

I had a photo card for a while, it opened out and was quite cool. I got rid of it because I didn't need the photos. The only time I give out business cards is at weddings, and they want to see the photos of the wedding they're at. Other than that I virtually never give out business cards.

Graphic designers really do have a value.
really happy you said that. I have begun to think that we didn't anymore.
and just a side note ... business cards have two sides, use them. Don't ever limit yourself to just one side of anything.
