Me and a buddy went out to take pictures at a local lake where there are suppose to be bald eagles this time of year. After talking to the park rangers, the closest we could get was 1/4 mile. My 70-300mm isn't going to reach that far so we headed off on a trip 1.5 hours away to Turner Falls, OK. We got there and of course in winter everything was brown. Not much to take pictures of.
On the way back, we pulled off the highway and drove around looking for a spot to take pictures of the sunet. This was the only good shot of the day.
