I was responding to a scream for help and upon arrival I discovered my daughter practising her arrest procedures. Needless to say, I didn't intervene until I had the shot in the bag...much to my boy's annoyance.
Teach him to pull her hair. :)

This is great. She is really into as evidenced by the reflection and the way her toes are digging into the rug. You go, girl!

Actually you would be suprised how strong they are. When I was about 17, my mother cleaned our sliding glass doors...... Well later that day I came running up onto the deck and *WHAM* I ran full speed into the D**N thing, ,almost knocked myself out  they were so clean I thought they were open
That door is still there.

That's a beautiful picture. What do I like about it ...
* The glow (literal) that the children have - did you PS that in?
* The contrast (figurative) between the 'violence' that one sees from behind and the gleeful smiles mirrored in the glass.
* The tension in your daughter's right foot
* The way the curtain and door combine to frame the subject.
All in all a great shot - it appeals to my sense of aesthetic tremendously!

Great!! Moments like these are why cameras are made.....you'll smile everytime you see this picture for many years to come. The spontaneous shots are my favorite part of photography.

Holy Cow...I've never had a response like that and I've got to say it's a great feeling. Thank you all for your replies.

The glow I think is from their closeness to the outside light whilst being mostly in the shade, causing their edges to be highlighted.
The only work in P.S was to crop some toys out from the left side and to frame the shot within the door frame and I adjusted the contrast.
Thanks all.
