Hi!

I am having trouble downloading my pictures to ZoomBrowser. This has worked many time before with no problems, but now, when I try to download my pictures, it does 1-7 images and then stops. If I unconnect the camera from the computer and start again, it will download some more images, and then stop. Sometimes I will get a message saying that the camera is unavailable.

I downloaded the latest ZoomBrowser EX 5.0 from Canon last night as well as the latest Driver for Windows XP. The same thing happens. In fact, after I downloaded the driver, I can no longer copy images to ZoomBrowser - it stops in the middle of downloading the first image. Argggghhhh!

Has anyone seen this happen before?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Jean

I suspect it is harware based. Maybe the cable, but more likley the USB port.

Well, I also tried using a Microsoft program (can't remember the name) and all the pictures downloaded fine. So, I don't think it's a hardware problem with the cable or USB port.

I'd rather use ZoomBrowser though because the Microsoft program doesn't number the images based on Canon's image number; it just starts over at 001.jpg and also is missing some nice features like loading vertical images vertically.

Any other ideas?
