My nephew in front of my patio door. I have not tried many natural light portraits as my S5 does not do well in low light situations and lil ones that move fast (or more likely I dont know how to make it do well lol). I thought these turned out ok at least. Please let me know what you think about them!

Thank you! That one was our favorite as well! Ive ordered a 5x7 in it from MPIX on their true B&W paper to see how it will look. I love MPIX but I have not tried that paper yet. Any one else tried it?

Very good use of the available light. I like #2...it's a tiny bit sharper (eyes). Handsome young chap.

Thanks! I might have to go back and try to sharpen his eyes a bit more on the first.

I can't wait for it to get here...I might end up ordering it bigger!

Thanks nugglemama!
I entered the first in a photo contest and they said "the rules say no professional photography"! They argued when they were told it was not taken by a professional...What a way to make a wanna be's day huh!!

1 and 2 are great. I personally like the horizontal composition of 2 better than 1.

Very cute. The light on his face seems a teensy bit hot to me... but his eyes look amazing. :)
Is he old enough to lie on his tummy and hold his head up? If so, try tossing a blanket on the ground with a pillow underneath it... and have him look up at you. It's a super cute shot and the light will sparkle up his eyes like crazy...

Thanks for the comments everyone! I am always trying to learn how to do better and everyone here has helped so much!
Kristy... He is old enough, he just turned 5 months. I am going to try to get some shots like that this week. Adorable picture by the way! Thanks for the idea and the help!
