S20 died as follows: the LCD was flickering from couple lines to 30+ lines, just liked the TV getting bad receptions. I was able to stop the flickering by turn off the camera and/or removed the rechargable battery.
Due to curiosity, I left the flickering went on to a worst state==> camera went to a uncontrolled colma state: lens body sticking out, no LCD, no icons, no matter what i chose on the dial. even changed the coin battery, didn't help to revive the battery.
Help, you Canon experts out there!!! I really need to get the camera be recovered for the holidays.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
