Finally managed to get this photo of him/her ?
It was my first bird photo.

Good shot. Love the color/texture of the tree trunk. Would like to see the bird larger in the image.

What a neat bird. And a good shot too. The color is great. The bird kind of jumps out at you.

Nice shot, I agree it would be nicer if it was a bit closer. But for the first time its pretty good.

I like the colors too. What lens did you use?

Was out with a 70-200 f4 setting Tv 1/500 Av 4.0 Fl 200. Iso 800

Thank you for the nice comments.
These Robin's are rather shy.
I was out with a 70-200 for a totally different purpose.
Got surprised by this Robin and had to react fast.

Agree that the bird could be larger, but I had to get closer which would have made him/her fly away and no photo.

Maybe I should buy a 400 prime for birds and wildlife ?

Nice shot. Maybe next time try to zoom in a little, other than that I like it alot!
