We were on a boat just out of Aransas Pass, Texas looking at Whooping Cranes. This genteleman was standing on the bow. The day was terribly gray. I just hought he had had so much character standing there. I tried cropping it, but I didn't like it. I am posting the original and the sepia.

Here's another on that I played with the OptikVerve filter called old newspaper.
Not sure about it.

Hello,
I'm from North East Texas- way north. We were there for a 3 day school trip. It was very interesting. My husband has to be back there next weekend. My duaghter and Iare planning to go with him. She wants to do all the things she didn't get to do with her class. We spent the night in the aqarium, went on two different boat trips, but didn't get to walk on the beach. Is this a good time to do that? It was very cold when we were there in January. I think it was right after you all had snow.

Great shot. I like the first or in black and white also. Can you do the 2nd and 3rd ones with PhotoShop Elements or does it take the full program?

Hi Jon,
I'm not sure. Does elements allow for plug ins? Here is the address for virtual photographer. IT is free. I have had a lot of fun with it. http://www.optikvervelabs.com/

You know, Aransas Pass is a perfect place for clear water and white beaches. Galveston has brown water and sand that is closer to mud. I live near Galveston but like the other.
