I was at Moss Landing here in NorCal. I walked out on a dock and looked down...:eek: I took about 5 shots from 10 feet above the water off the dock and ran down to the shoreline for a few more. The first one is off the dock in about 10 to 15 feet of water. The second is from the shoreline, about 2 feet deep.
Last week they were everywhere. In the hundreds. I was back today, but no Jelly fish to be found...:(

I found this guy lying on the rocks that same day..:cry: I would say this is the true Alien.

Wow, pretty cool!

When I see pics like these I feel so sorry for myself that I live in Nebraska. I could post some awesome cow pictures though. ;)

Haha. The jellyfish shots are great. Great focus, great colors; I just wish the second weren't so noisy.

I like 'em. Did you use a polarizer to get these shots? I tried taking a similar picture of a manta ray off a dock and I got excessive glare.

You cant go wrong with jellys their colors are almost always awesome!
