I was goofing around trying to get a bit more familiar with my new 420EX this morning. My test subject was my 4 year old son. Not the brightest thing I've ever done...4 year olds have attention span of a housefly.
But, I did manage this one shot that I think is pretty darn good. Not bad for just goofing around.
Hope you like it.

Looks like you held his attention just fine.
The lighting is even although the color tones are rather flat.
Do you have EXIF info to post?

The colors are much more washed out when viewed with Internet Explorer. When I view it with Photoshop, they're much richer. I don't have the software loaded to get the EXIF data.

Yep, that's the book.

There was a little morning light streaming from a window on his left. I bounced my 420EX off the wall next to the window.
