View Full Version : Ken Rockwell's Free SLR User's Manuals

I recently found a D90 user's guide written by Ken Rockwell that is awesome! He goes into detail on every function, feature, and menu item, and explains what it does, and what he changes. It was VERY helpful when I was learning my D90. He has manuals for most Nikon SLRs (but no Canons for some reason) from the D40 up to the D3. I'm sure many have already seen them, but for those who haven't, please check out the full listing I made on my blog:

He allows you to download them, but asks for a $5 donation if you do. In my opinion, it's worth it. Enjoy!

wow, that is so odd. I wonder why he doesn't do Canon? and who is this 'rockwell' fellow anyway?

Ken Rockwell is kind of a Nikon aficionado, so that may be the reason. He talks a lot about Canon gear, and has shot thousands of pics with high-end Canon cameras, so one would think he would write some guides for Canons too. Oh well.

if your chair is made by N*! then I'll pass you the duct tape to cover the logo. :) but the popcorn is good, and later I'll get out the ice cream and root-beer W00T!

:D there were a couple in that link that I had forgotten hahaha and to think that I read his site heavily when I was first researching for my DSLR. I glad I wasn't damaged for life from the experience. LOL :D

Ken Rockwell is to photography what Renaldo Lapuz is to music. They both make us laugh and they get a lot of website (youtube in Renaldo's case) hits, but that's where it ends.

But oh, how they make us laugh! :D
