well the story behind this shot is, that the couple and i planned this shot 2 days in advance. Because there are so many first kiss shots at the alter, we wanted something stellar, thus the first kiss half way down the aisle with the guests in full view..
i think it turned out great and the guest were pleasantly surprised..

I like the first kiss.
The last two are cool for me, but i wish there was a little more expression from the B&G on the last one. A little cold outside...
thanks for sharing....

Whoa, man these are good.
Especially the piano picture.
May I ask which lens for which picture?
Thanks

let see, i had the 35 1.4L on the 5d for the first kiss and alter "standing" shots.
the after ceremony pictures was with the 5d and 70-200 2.8 IS. probably around F 3.5.
i shoot with the 70-200 at around 160-185mm i think. Really makes the subjects look flat and natural.
no flash was used on any pictures, just natual low church light with slight PP in light room. I thinks some of them had shutter speed of just 1/30 or 1/60ish.
i had the big white lens monopod to stablize. with I.S. i think i could have hand held it too.

these are great shots but they all seem a bit soft to me and I don't know why

I second the previous comments. The EXIF says that you shoot with shutter speeds as low as 1/20, maybe that explains some of the softness.

yea.. i mentioned above i shot with shutter speeds of 1/30ish to 1/60ish already.. and only slight PP on the photos.. but that does explains the soft output.
i just wanted no flash used on these photos..

Wow! I love that first kiss, it really is different from the norm and it allowed for a much better angle. Thanks for showing it.
