Thanks Frank...
The angle of the sun at that point was pretty much right down the runway so it was lighting up pilot faces nicely.

Nice shots. Judging from the last one it looks like they're from a flight academy of some sort. Judging from what looks like epaulets on the CFI's shoulders that is.

you and the 300 2.8 with 1.4 do a very good job. I can only sit back a wish.

Hang tough and save your dimes and nickles...
I "wished" (and worked) for a very long time myself.
A less painful alternative would be the 100-400. It's an excellent lens for shooting aviation subjects as well.

Haha I think AZ and FL top the list with regards to that!
Thanks...

Glad you like...
Prop Blur I've got figured out. It's the other stuff (like focus, framing, exposure, location, light quality, subject matter, etc) that often bites me in the keester. ;)
Very nice as usual Jay!
Gracias... :)

#2 is phenomenal. I love that angle, especially in a bank like that.

Can't take credit for the bank but I liked how it fit the frame.
Sometimes a late base entry makes for a nice photo. ;)
