I like the shots a lot. Composition is good, lighting is nice (might need a little push but not much), action is great, really nice series.
OTOH, I know, he's obviously really good but a scooter (and girl pants to boot!)? Shakes head...

Hey! Many BMXers have made the move to scooters over the winter. You can practice in your garage, Incorporate normal bike tricks, (Tuck no's, 3's, flat whips, 180 bars etc), and they're pretty fun! I cant really ride them though because I'm 6'3" and look weird enough on my bmx bike .
Decent shots.......
OP: Are you on the come up?

I know Nick, I was just teasing as we all tend to do. I actually jump on the scooter in the drive while I'm grillin in the summer. Try taking one of those in the ankle when you get over zealous on a whip, ouch!
Just kidding about the scooter thing, those guys can do work too. The girl pants though, I draw the line. Not to threadjack but I am hoping for some good stuff this weekend. My son and I are heading out to ride Woodward for the weekend. Stoked!Hey! Many BMXers have made the move to scooters over the winter. I don't really care what pants he wears, but seeing so much of his underwear doesn't endear me to the images. In #3, the booty cleavage is distracting and IMHO detracts from the overall image even IF it indeed has nothing to do with what he's wearing. I seriously doubt you want to see mine so what makes anyone think I want to see theirs?
I get the whole rebellion thing (I was a kid during the 60's and 70's when young people had a whole lot more rebellion goin' on), but with pants like that, that would greatly restrict just normal movement (let alone athletic movement), that need to be pulled up every few steps while you're walking, that are not of much use when seated and since it usually takes time and materials to even get them to look like that, it just seems like a lot of hassle to put up with only to say "I'm a rebel", which in that sense is why what he's wearing becomes part of what this image is about (to me).
There's a reason why 99.9% of kids that dress like that during their rebellious 14 to 16 year old stage eventually give it up. It's way more hassle than it's worth.
Given that photos are images that speak to us without using words, the image I get here is: Wow, here's a dude (with the mindset of a semi-rebellious 15 year old) pulling off some cool moves on a scooter wearing pants that make it potentially more difficult than it is. The only thing I want to know is if he had to go home early because he ripped the crotch out of his britches?
Technically, I think you've done well to get relatively clean action pics in such a low light environment although it's a little hard to tell for sure at the size they appear here. And even though I may sound like I don't appreciate it (I hope not, just commenting on some pics), I do thank you for sharing and hope to see more from you.
Regards,
Jeff

I think about 5, maybe a fuzz less. Lot 8 and Cloud 9 are open and they aren't expecting a bunch of folks so it should be great. Bestwick is riding Saturday so hopefully we'll get to ride with the master and watch the magic. I don't ride vert so I am always in awe of those guys.
