As it was a nice day yesterday I rolled out the old Cortina for a wee run as it has sat in the garage all winter.I just had to take a few photos too.I'm trying the B&W treatment.
The winter sun was very low and harsh and you will see where I cloned out an off camera flash (badly) that I placed in front of the car just to help the exposure.I also need to practice more with the little remote trigger I got.Heres the results.

I bet there are not that many 1966 Mk1's still in that condition. Looks very tidy.
:)
PS Are the front 3/4 bumpers original??? It looks like I can see the 'entry points' for full width mountings?

Thanks for the comments guy's.Unfortunately its not a genuine Lotus Cortina but was origionally a 1200 Delux model and would have had a full width front bumper along with a weedy 1200cc engine.
However, it has been modified and now runs a 2Ltr Fiat Twin Cam engine. That makes it sound and go just a little better:D

Hi Padrino. its the Argenta engine from a Fiat 132 Also came in SuperMirafiori models. Its a great engine, very strong and sounds nice on twin 45 dellorto carbs.Has around 130bhp which gets the Cortina moving along nicely.
