See www.canonextrapromotion.com (http://www.canonextrapromotion.com/) - cash back runs from 15 March until year end.

And guess when I bought my 70-200mm F/4L - 10 March. At least I can get some cash back from the 1.4x II extender purchase that I have yet to make.:)

Arrgh, I also bought my 70-200 at the start of March. Never mind, the 17-40L is on the list and £70 back plus the cash for selling the 18-55mm is irresistable!

This looks great, thanks for the link! Does it matter where you buy the gear from to qualify for the rebate?

Why do you say good luck Tim, maybe I'm reading it wrong but sounds like your sceptical that they will pay up?

I submitted my rebate, and complied to the letter, but last time I looked at the online thingy it said something about it not being submitted correctly. The only reason to do rebates as opposed to charging less is because you don't want to give people money. It was only $10 or $20 so I don't care, but i'll ignore rebates in the future and count them as a bonus not discount them from the price.

Cheers for the warning Tim. I did the Canon rebate on the 300D purchase and my cheque came through after about a month. I would have assumed a company such as Canon would be true to their word... or am I a bit naive?! LOL.

The Canon promotions web site has a bar graph of time to wait for cash back, don't see why they wouldn't be able to stick to this!

I can't remember how to check the status of my rebate online. Anyone?
