Does anyone have pics of the inside of the Domke F-612 long lens bag for the 300mm lens? I can't believe how many bag manufacturers don't put pics of the inside of their bags on the web. It's almost like they don't want to sell them. :(

What's to show? It's just one big long compartment that holds a 300 2.8 IS and mounted body. If you want, you can also slide a "Better Beamer" setup down beside the lens. And it only comes in black, so you wouldn't see much anyhow.

That's basically what I wanted to know. I couldn't tell if there was any room on the sides of the lens or not. Obviously there would be more around the f/4 model. You said you can get the Better Beamer next to the lens, but where do you put your flash? I also couldn't tell how much room there is the front pocket, but obviously it's quite a bit to get both extenders and tubes in there. Thanks for replying, for some reason your thread didn't come up when I did a search.

Flash and a couple of TCs will fit in the front outside pocket. It's a snug fit but stacking the TCs on a tube it just works. I've suggested that they alter the wrap-around strap so you can attach the F-901 or F-902 pouches on the side; there'd be gobs of extra space then.
