Brand New SX10 - Movie Playback Not Working

Got fresh batteries, everything else works fine, I can record a movie, but when I work through the steps to get it to play back, it gets to the thumbnail of the first frame, the set icon is in the top left, I hit the set button and nothing else happens. No control buttons apear to play/pause and so on, at the bottom of the screen.

Anyone had this happen, know what's wrong, suggestions? I really hate this. Had it an hour and now it has to go back. :(

Mitch, you get my messege suggesting a different card? Worth a try before sending it back.

Yes, and no, just the one card. Got three more ordered but they won't be here till next week. I hope. I have tried everything, sliding the lock thing on the card, formatting the card, removing the batteries, everything I can think of and nothing makes the thing playback in preview.

I really hate it when these big companies can not send out stuff that works. Makes me want to go join a commune.
