Hi Guys

I recently bought me an EOS3000n (SLR -sorry didnt know where to post).
I am really desperate to use the camera iv been seeing kodak moments every day all my life.

My problem is i wasnt supplied with the user manual or usage instructions! I know the bare basics but none of the really nifty features (as far as eos300n nifty'ness go).

The settings Dial (i have attached a pic) is pretty much the same as most canon cameras so im sure there must be a general guide floating around the net. I have seached and searched without luck!

So do you guys know of a website explaining how to use the camera or know if a PDF or similar. I will be forever greatful.!

I would check the canon website. I believe that they have PDF's for user manuals that you can download.

I spent an hour searching on almost all their international websites. Sorry there's nothing, only brochures which lists only the specs.

if you take a closer look you will notice the manual is in german :(

however i just started downloading the 3000"V" manual... maybe it is similar.

no, the 3000V has a comprehensive lcd display on the back of the camera. The body is not the same.
Though i will use this manual for the time being, seeing that the terminology and dial settings are very similar.

Stuff like this pops up on ebay from time to time too if you want the printed version. There are a couple up there now.

The Rebel XS is basically what you've got with a different name. Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone! I have finally located the correct instruction manual. Some poor sod scanned the whole book :)

I'll prolly be bothering you guys with some other noob questions in due time.
