I'm nervous about showing these because they are the very first portrait I've ever taken...BE BRUTAL!!!!

Very nice portrait for a "beginner". I like natural lighting and you used it well here. Helps to have a nice model, too. ;)

No, I'm not a professional. I'm in my second semester of school. We haven't learned lighting yet, so I've just kind of been trying to mess around with it. Thanks guys

This one is much more flattering to the subject than the last one you posted of her. She looks very soft (like a female - not the focus) I bet she really liked it.
