Anyone here ever use them for printing? I just put a picture order together of about 485 4x6 prints. Really just snapshots of the holidays and kids. Well I ordered a pre-paid print plan so the prints were 10 cents a print. Spent 60 dollars then I was assuming I could also get the free shipping because I spent more than 50 dollars, NO they want another 21 bucks in shipping.. ugh.. because it was a separate transaction and I can’t combine 2 offers. I think thats crap.. I spent over 50. I haven’t placed the order yet but I’m just about ready to say screw it because I already edited them and spent hours putting them online. Sooo.. I don’t know really the purpose of my post but just wondering what all the other moms or dads do to print pics. I know this board is more towards professional photography but I thought maybe some other moms or dad..lol like me where lurking around here. If so where do you print your pics when you’re on a budget?

I've used shutterfly for family photos and they came out pretty well--I wasn't unhappy with them. But I prefer Mpix for quality. Costco--I use for 12 x 12 scrap pages and I like their quality but for 4 X 6 half the time their printer on the back is low on ink and I can't read the file names--which I hate cuz that's how I date stuff. Shutterfly is always clear. A minor detail until you have tons of family snaps you have to sort!

True.. I do love how Shutterfly dates the back of the pics with the original date taken.... does Mpix.com do that? just wondering..
