Good lines and textures. Looks like you applied a find edges filter also? Photomatix? Doesn't look like it because the roof/skyline is missing the normal photomatix halos. But if you did use photomatix, good job of controlling halos!

I merged images in CS4, used photomatix plugin to tonemap the HDR image and finally ran a highpass filter to sharpen the image a bit. Anyone has any ideas how to get rid of that 'dirt' around the roof area?

I've used Dodge Tool , Exposure 4 percent , Range - Midtones. Maybe It's not clean enough and accurate..... I just wanted to show you what you can do with that tool. Hope that'll be useful.

A little overcooked for my taste, but still very nice. I like all the lines.

The older version 2.x something of photomatix had lots of halos, but they've really got that under control on version 3 now, IMO.

Unless the dirt was in the originals, I think this is an artifact from Photomatix. I see it in all the renders. It looks like something done from some sort of algorhythm that does vignetting to color areas. You can see the brick building at the lower right has it too.
