I was looking at the AlienBee's Digibee package,
2 x B800 Strobes
2 x 10-foot General Purpose Stand
1 x 48” Silver/White Umbrella
1 x 48” Shoot-Thru Umbrella

I've thought about picking up the Vagabond 150 for those on-site shoots.

Total for that package without the Vagabond runs, $731.30

Total with the Vagabond puts it at, $1051.56

What else will I need for this to work, I heard something about a pocket wizard?

What about sync cables?

All help is appreciated.

They come with sync cables (or at least mine did), but if there is a situation where you need to trigger both (or more) and they can't see each other you may need the multi-sync plug to trigger both from camera. It will be a rare occasion though.

If at least one of the ABs is not within 10 feet of the camera, then you might need a pocket wizard or radio remote. If you are within 10 feet of one, then remotes are only handy if you change settings on the lights frequently and don't feel like walking over to the lights.

Lastly the only other thing you may need is one good sized carry bag to put everything in.

Just my experience

Sounds like you are set. Worry about Pock Wizards later.

I have been using the White lightning (Alien bees is another product line for the Paul Buff Co.) for the last 10 years I have used the 1800 ultras both in my studio and also on location for every wedding I shoot, they have been very dependable and I enjoy being able to get the exact exposure I'm looking for with them. My next purchase will be the Alien Bees B800 and the Vagabond V150 for outdoor location lighting.
Remember do not plug any light source (other than on camera flash) into any digital camera with out going through something like the Wien HSHSB (mini-circuit breaker)
Ask your Canon dealer. ;) :) :D

Good shooting to Ya !!

Unless you absolutely need a remote power source. I would highly suggest getting the pocket wizards. That way you do not have sync cords to trip over and be tethered to. Plus with PW's you expand your shooting options.

If you absolutely need the remote power, get the Vagabond.

Pocket Wizards are cool.

I would add the Sekonic L358 with Pocket Wizard Module ($25), and a set of Pocket Wizard Plus. No Sync cords period.
