So young to have facial hair like that, should have the lady's positively ouing. Last one is a true favorite of mine also.

Ok, you know what I'm going to say (um, that you need to be famous and have a book deal) so I'm just not going to say it. With that being NOT said, fantastic! Love them all. I wish I had pictures like these when my kids were this tiny.

thanks! i used a single strobe w/a softbox. i use a 5d and 24-70mm lens...but honestly i think its much more about the posing/lighting than what camera/lens you use

Question...
What black fabric do you use? Velvet?

CheetaPita
3rd of February 2009 (Tue), 00:10
thanks yall!!

TB - black fleece - velvet has a tendency to reflect light

mikez - AB400

Very nice Carley. I like your use of light AND shadow. Sometimes we forget shadows are just as important. The poses are great.

One question, did the first baby have a birthmark on its tummy?

CheetaPita
4th of February 2009 (Wed), 16:33
mikez - its a westcott apollo - im sure you can find a link to buy it if you google that

tiffany - nope, no birthmark. thats just a bruise from where i punched her into submission (thats what i do when babies dont want to sleep for me)

I love your work Cheetapita!!!!! I have only done outdoor stuff but am expecting a child at the end of this month and will be practicing on him ALOT! I am so excited. Do you mind if I ask for some tips? Especially with what lighting/lenses you are using?
