Wanted to say hi to everyone here. been looking here for the past few weeks for some tips.
this is literary one of my first shots and i was just curious to what you guys think of it. im quite proud of it for how new i am to photography

I use photoshop CS3. Most image editing programs will have some sort of image resizing ability, and even some image hosting sites, like flickr and photobucket will resize your photos for you.
