The sun finally came out and since I still have no power I needed to get out of the parents' house so I wandered around downtown for a while. All were taken with the kit 18-55mm IS lens, iso100, hand held.

i really like #4....could be better at a wider angle but the texture in the side of the building is really interesting...

Yeah, there is an all glass skyscraper next to that building and the sun was reflecting off of it and making that pattern on the side. It was a little wider at first, but I lost some of it when I adjusted the perspective in PP.
