If you've got a sec, pls have a look thru my site and let me know what you think about the navigation, presentation, etc.

Personally, I kinda agree with teh above critique, but I also value simplicity. For what that's worth, I do LIKE you photos. So that being said, I'd suggest more emphasis on the photography. Just my $0.02.

only showing 4 thumbnails at a time is painful

also each page with them isn't a seperate page, sometimes I click on the arrows and nothing happens

the individual photos also don't have a direct link to them

if someone wanted to show someone a specific pink they would have to say "click portfolio, click outdoor, click the down arrow twice, click the third thumbnail" etc

rather than just pasting them a link

sometimes clicking a link just loads a blank green page, i right clicked and saw it was flash, said movie not loaded

this whole site could be done without flash and will load a lot quicker and have proper links and use proper browser navigation (ie back and forward), I can't see a single reason why this was done in flash, just a few problems because it was done so

I think the simplicity is good, nothing distracts from the topic. I would agree that the arrows on your gallery are somewhat slow, but i am sure this could be addressed by improving your flash codes.
Flash is complex and far beyond my skill to i applaud you for your development thus far. Whilst this website could be done without flash i know that in this age of image theft there is good reason to adopt this approach to web design.
One last thing, i think a little blurb about you on your landing page would be a nice touch, even if you are not looking to run a business it helps the reader to know who you are and what you are doing.
My 2 cents worth, i hope it helps.

A.

Tidy up the code, it's a mess... Seriously.

Lose the Flash you don't need it for that design you could do something quick with CSS/HTML layout. A simple two column layout is easy to code. Flash is ok for certain elements but not a complete site, you're losing SEO points.

Contact form should be considered, this helps those visiting 'Net Cafés, libraries and other public places contact you.

For some reason I have to click to activate Flash this can deter some users and think that they're doing something wrong.

I would but I know nothing about coding in HTML/CSS. I'm trying to teach myself but it's driving me to drink LOL. I may have to bite the bullet and take a class or pay a web designer to do this. Thanks for the critique Faolan
